I have this need to constantly manipulate and transform a material. I believe the more a material can undergo changes, the more it comes to life and visualizes a story. I search for a close confrontation with the material. The tactile aspect is as important as the visual. I observe partly by sight, partly by touch. Thinking from other domaines or working from other sences than the visual achieve a more intense or multifaceted experience of the work.I’m looking for a strong connection to the human body and how deformation of it can lead to new expressions and transformations. This process is translated in various media. My work is a combination of painting, collages, sculpture, sound and performance.
