Xuanlynn Wang

Xuanlynn Wang (°1994,TW) holds an M.F.A at the Royal Academy of Fine Art in Antwerp, Belgium, where she currently resides after graduating in 2020. She is a hybrid artist who blends printing, photographs, material creation, and performing to practice and tackles the potency of symbiotic relations between human beings and their natural surroundings.


Xuanlynn Wang creates performative situations wherein she addresses her physicality and the created objects as a representation of our interconnectedness with the natural environment. Her endeavor is to create artworks in the context of climate activism for public environmental awareness. Using the physical body as a representation of our direct connection to the natural environment and the materials found in nature as a medium for art. A symbiosis of the individual, the natural environment, and the self need to express ourselves through artistic creations.
